If a family member or loved one needs intervention we offer a variety of services to help. We also provide support to assist family members who are living with and caring for individuals suffering from addiction and mental health issues.
For those looking to build a career in the substance abuse field, Helio Health, Inc is an approved provider of the 350-hour CASAC Initial Standardized Curriculum. Courses are offered in-person or through distance learning opportunities. We also offer the initial certification training for the Certified Peer Recovery Advocate (CRPA). We offer continuing education to employees and other professionals interested in furthering their career in alcohol and substance use counseling, mental health and other human service disciplines.
At Helio Health, we take a comprehensive approach to recovery. An approach that strips away the chains of addiction and mental illness so that, together, you and your family can begin a new life of hope and healing. At Helio Health we promote recovery from the effects of substance use and mental health disorders and other health issues.
The opioid crisis continues to engulf every corner of our community. Unfortunately, fewer than 10% of people who need treatment for an addiction to heroin, painkillers and other drugs are gaining access to the care they need to get better. With the Outreach and Engagement team, our mission is to go out and reach those individuals wherever they are in Onondaga, Cayuga, Madison, Oswego and Oneida counties. We do that by bringing hope directly to them and their families. In many cases, we can get individuals on the road to recovery within 24 hours.
