Can I give by mail?

Is my donation secure?

All donations are processed through Helio Health’s secure website. Helio Health provides security through Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), a recognized authentication and encryption software. In other words, the site becomes locked while you are giving us your information and unlocks only when you leave the secured area, and your payment information is encrypted so it is unreadable to anyone outside the transaction process.

 

What are my rights as a donor?

The Association for Fundraising Professionals has declared that all donors have rights as supporters, as expressed in the Donor Bill of Rights. These rights are identified to assure that philanthropy merits the respect and trust of the general public, and that donors and prospective donors can have full confidence in the nonprofit organizations and causes they support. Helio Health abides by the Donor Bill of Rights in all interactions with donors.

 

Is my donation tax deductible?

The Helio Health Foundation is recognized as tax-exempt under section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code. One hundred percent of your donation is tax deductible. Our Federal Tax ID number or Employer Identification Number (EIN) is 15-0532288. Donations made outside of the United States may not be tax deductible.

 

Will I get a receipt for my donation?

Yes! When you make your donation online, you will see a confirmation page and receive an email confirmation, either one of which may be used as an official receipt. If you mail in your contribution, we will send you a confirmation letter within two to three weeks. If you have any questions, please contact our Development Department.

 

Will Helio Health accept a matching gift from my company?

Yes! You can double or triple your support of Helio Health through your company’s matching gift program. You may also visit your personnel office or human resources to ask if they match charitable donations, obtain a matching gift form, fill it out completely and mail it along with your contribution to:
