Partners In Hope

Recovery takes more than a village; it takes a nation. We are honored to partner with businesses throughout our community who have joined the TransformNation and pledged their support in the fight against addiction and mental illness. These organizations have generously given of their time, talents, and resources to provide hope and healing to people who are working towards recovery.

Corporate partners play an important role in the TransformNation. They help underwrite programs and events that provide lifesaving treatment and support. Employee-based volunteer initiatives collect needed items like winter clothing and homegoods. Their voice in the community raises awareness and builds solidarity.

“Beak & Skiff is inspired by the fearless work that Helio Health is committed to each and every day. It’s clear that their comprehensive approach to recovery is second to none, and we are honored to play a small part in their impactful efforts to help the community. We focused on community residence improvements, as this housing serves as an integral transition for those on their recovery journey. Each step in recovery is one worth recognizing, and this is Beak & Skiff’s way of encouraging patients to stay committed to the healing process.” –Marianne Brennan

Beak & Skiff Apple Orchards takes a multi-faceted approach to supporting recovery in the greater Central New York community. Their financial support funded new beds at the Harriet May Mills women’s community residence and updated kitchen equipment at four residential programs. Each year Beak & Skiff supports the Run for Recovery by hosting the annual 5k walk/run, which brings together hundreds of people from throughout the state to celebrate recovery. Finally, Beak & Skiff employees regular assemble hundreds of pre-treatment prep kits for homeless individuals entering recovery. These kits include personal items, small refreshments, and a hand-written note of encouragement.

“Our neighbors, friends, coworkers and family can and do suffer from addiction and mental health disorders. We are joining TransformNation for them. Dunk and Bright has been committed to the community for 93 years and we feel that one of the most impactful things we can do is to be a part of this cause. By partnering with Helio Health, we can help support thousands of patients.”- Joe Bright, Dunk & Bright.

Dunk & Bright has been a long time partner in the fight against substance use and mental health disorders. Every year Dunk & Bright sponsors Helio Health’s annual fall fundraising event – helping to underwrite the event, donating items to the silent auctions, and inviting other community partners to attend and learn more about recovery.

“If we all do a little bit, it’s amazing the impact we can have on our community.” – Kevin Blake, ICS
