Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC)
Our Syracuse, NY Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) provides a
comprehensive array of services to improve access, stabilize individuals in crisis,
and deliver appropriate treatment for substance use and mental health conditions.
Services emphasize integration, recovery, wellness, trauma-informed care, and
coordination of physical and behavioral health needs.
As one of only 13 CCBHCs in New York, we provide comprehensive outpatient mental
health and substance use services that are person-centered, trauma-informed, and
evidence-based.
Helio Health is committed to delivering flexible, mobile services that adapt to
the specific and changing needs of each individual.
Notice to Patients
This program serves all patients regardless of ability to pay. Discounts for
essential services are offered based on family size and income.

- Adults with substance use and/or mental health disorders
- Children with substance use and/or mental health disorders
- Individuals with long-term chronic substance use disorders
- Underserved individuals and families
- Low-income individuals and families
- Individuals who are insured, uninsured, or enrolled in Medicaid
- Individuals with complex health needs
- Members of the armed services and veterans
Services Offered
- Outpatient mental health and substance use services
- Screening, assessment, and diagnosis, including risk management
- Note: we do not provide assessments for custody
- Primary care screening and monitoring
- Targeted case management
- Psychiatric rehabilitation services (daily living skills)
- Withdrawal management services
- Peer support, counseling, and family support services
- Crisis mental health services
- 24-hour mobile crisis teams
- Emergency crisis intervention
- Crisis stabilization
- Coordination with other providers and systems, including criminal justice,
education, foster care, child welfare, primary care, and hospitals
Walk-in Services Hours
CCBHC Outpatient Walk-in Services (formerly known as Open Access) hours are:
Monday through Friday: 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Walk-in services are not available on weekends or holidays.
