Stabilization, Rehabilitation and Reintegration
Elements of Central New York is a 75 bed, multi-level of care approach to treatment for substance use disorders. Offering programs to support stabilization, rehabilitation, and reintegration, Elements provides a safe, secure, and comfortable setting for both men and women.
Counseling and treatments are evidence-based, person-centered, trauma informed, and OASAS certified.
Stabilization provides patients with a comfortable and safe setting where they may recover from symptoms of withdrawal, severe cravings, and psychiatric or medical symptoms. Staff is available 24/7 to provide assessments, monitoring of withdrawal symptoms and vital signs, individual and group counseling, structured activities, medication management, and discharge planning, as necessary.
Rehabilitation will assist individuals that are stable enough to manage emotional stresses, urges, and cravings within the safety of a residential setting. The treatment staff will work with the patient in developing healthy strategies for leisure activities, and educational and vocational goals with the objective of building resiliency and increasing self-sufficiency.
Reintegration allows individuals to transition from a structured treatment setting to more independent living while still providing a high degree of support. Ongoing coordination of care will work with the patient to secure housing, vocational counseling, and outside supports to maintain recovery after discharge.
