About the Bands

The Black River is a five piece indie rock band based in Syracuse, NY. They released their first album Classic Universe in January 2018 and are set to drop their follow up record later this year. Although the band is just over a year old they have already garnered national attention because of their genre bending abilities and high energy performances. In 2017 they shared stages with Shooter Jennings, The Sadies, Mondo Cozmo, Eric Tessmer, The Trews & more. Their performance at the 2017 moe.down music festival put their unique sound on display and was in many ways a spring board that has propelled them to one of the most well known and respected original bands in central New York.

Late Earth is an independent alt-blues band from Syracuse NY. Started in the summer of 2012 as an acoustic duo by the name “Never Knows Best”, the band would continue to morph over the course of the year, adopting and changing members in search of their signature sound to finally arrive at what is now Late Earth. They generate a sound unlike that of your average garage band. The music is multidimensional and crosses genres (ska, jazz, r&b, punk, rap, folk to name a few), while the musicians add their own twist to create a sound that is all their own. Nominated in 2018 for a SAMMY for Best Jam Band, Late Earth now lives in the CNY music community, taking each new venue by storm with a untethered tone sure to grab your ear.

Molina is an alternative rock band from Binghamton NY, formed in 2014, releasing their debut EP album titled “Swing Devotion” in 2015. Since then the band has gained attention in the music community with their influence from NY native bands “Interpol” and “The National,” delivering enthralling guitar riffs and ever driving bass lines, topped off with a distinct vocal range. Molina was humbled to share the stage with 80’s legend Tom Keifer from the iconic band “Cinderella.” Molina has played countless shows gaining many loyal followers. They have obtained radio play and shared the stage with the best “Up and Coming” acts across the state.

Atkins Riot is a dynamic rock trio from Syracuse, New York that brings you raw, live music. With Anthony Saturno on ripping guitars and vocals, Billy Harrison and his melodic and thumping bass lines and vocals, and Rob Zaccaria laying down the rock on the drums, making it smooth and groovin’. These three know how to please a crowd and keep coming up with rocking tunes. Atkins Riot is more than just the music, however, The Riot symbolizes change, independence and revolution toward more compelling sounds, feelings and dreams and a spiritual fight for musical freedom. Because thats what music is right? Soul and Spirit…. Are you ready to join the Riot?

Climbing Stars is an original rock band from Syracuse, NY who is picking up where grunge left off. Their many influences have blended to create a unique sound that will leave you feeling like your listening to a old friend, yet experiencing something new! Climbing Stars features Chris Trapasso on vocals and guitar, Brandon Smith on lead guitar, Ryan McCarthy on bass guitar, and Adam Kraebel on drums.
