Demystifying Eating Disorder Care: Exploring diagnosis, treatment and social justice implications of eating disorder care – PART 1

Attendees will be able to better identify disordered eating behaviors and more confidently diagnose individuals. There will be a better understanding of the development of eating disorders and knowledge around the true roots of these disorders compared to what the media has depicted. An ability to ask questions of clients and other treatment providers as well as challenge the social norms around bodies, health and diet culture will be obtained.
